On Saturday 2 July 2005 at Hackney Town Hall, The Ligali Organisation and Insaka hosted 'A Day of African Remembrance'. It was a day of positive edutainment dedicated to remembering our ancestors who have fought and died for self-determination, justice and social revolution and the African people and culture lost through enslavement, colonialism and racism.
